Another great Ride2Work Day

Ride2Work Day is the country’s biggest celebration of commuter bike riding - it shows Australians and their workplaces just how easy and fun it is to ride a bike to work and includes free breakfasts in cities and regional centres across the country.

Over 400 people joined Connect member breakfast sites hosted by Stockland, Optus, Macquarie University and Fujitsu - enjoying the benefits of swapping the car, train or bus for a bike and getting involved in Ride2Work Day.

Riding to work is the easiest way to get your daily 30 minutes of exercise, but it is also cheaper, far less stressful and can also be the fastest way to get to work.

We know a 5km to 10km ride to work takes less than 30 minutes on a bike and up to one hour in the car if you aim to arrive at Macquarie Park or North Ryde at 8.30am.

By joining Ride2Work, many people find the confidence and support they need to get on their bikes, and discover just how easy it is to ride to work. A great example is Fabiola - she used Co-Hop to find a mentor for Ride2Work Day.  Discover Fabiola's story here.

Riding with Andrew helped to conquer the fear…. he was so considerate and understanding and showed me the best and safest way to cycle is to follow the rules
