“How to talk about Macquarie Park innovation district” - new guide launched

How do Macquarie Park's end users - employees, students, visitors - think and feel about our area, and how could the way we talk about Macquarie Park inform those perceptions? Connect MPID have created a new communications framework to help this conversation.

Connect MPID’s new guide, "How to talk about Macquarie Park innovation district - a narrative framework" was launched recently at an exclusive event for our members hosted at Sanofi (Talavera Road).

The framework highlights what’s unique about Macquarie Park - including our innovation credentials and greenness - and provides practical message for four key audiences, backed up by compelling proof points.

It aims to help employers, organisations and entrepreneurs with creating job adverts, web copy, and even speeches and presentations about their impact in Macquarie Park

“How to talk about Macquarie Park innovation district” was sponsored by Optus and led by an expert group consisting of two local employers, Macquarie University, real estate and local government.

Mark Ames, General Manager at Connect Macquarie Park Innovation District, hailed the cooperation which helped make the guide a reality:

“The way we talk about Macquarie Park as an innovation district is increasingly important if we want it to be seen as a destination of choice for talent, tenants and strategic investment.

“With input from an expert group and led by professional communications consultants, this narrative framework is a great example of Connect MPID members working together to address a shared challenge.”
