Stretch your competitive muscles for a worthy cause in Macquarie Park – the United Way Community Cup is back!

Aiming to raise crucial funds to benefit local children - and kick some serious early years literacy development goals - the United Way Community Cup is an annual fixture between local businesses who play in partnership.

Featuring a chance to take a penalty against the men or women’s Sydney FC team, six-a-side company team competitions, raffles and off-pitch networking, the event promises a fun day for all at Christie Park.

The Cup raises funds to help local children enrolled in the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

The program fosters a love for reading by providing children a new book every month from 0 to 5 years old.

Recognising that 33% of NSW children are failing to meet NAPLAN literacy benchmarks, United Way are dedicated to making a difference. They’ve enjoyed a long partnership with the Macquarie Park community through their annual soccer fixture, and the Macquarie Park Walkathon each spring.
